It was a weighted dish with a sponge inside, it had a hole in the top smaller than the sponge, i think it was to prevent so much mess when the bowl got knocked over. LOL, this would be funny. We had to get bowls that attach to her kennel, this way she can't knock them over. At puppy class we used to have to hold the bowl, her fav game was to knock it over!
