Almost every time Nisha goes in her crate she gets a dog treat. You could lock her in the crate w/ a frozen kong, bully stick, or bone. She is sure to like the crate if she gets goodies!
I would start crate training while you are at home. Put her in w/ a treat while you make dinner, or vacuum. Putting her in right away, then leaving for 8 hrs may stress her out. Good luck!
