I have Gypsy thats almost 2 and Cash thats 8 months I live on almost 2 acres, one side we have an aggressive golden with an invisible fence, he has broken it (which I think he didnt have his collar on) and attacked my American BUlldog since then the owner put up a barrier fence and all has been fine, I dont have a fence, I have a portable invisible fence which works for Both dogs, but we dont have other animals in my yard very often.. maybe 1x every other year.. I dont let my dogs out side unsupervised..

I dont have the money for a fence I was going to do the privacy but it was too costly, I do have a kennel for both dogs as well, so my answer is Yes I have dogs and no physical fence..

my friends have a real high strung german shorhair pointer, he is a hunting dog they have him on a pully system, its not like a ties out he has alot of room to roam and doesnt get twisted around things,

But I would get a fence if I was woried of other animals in my yard, with Cash he doesnt leave my side I have tried to get him to play and he wont..
