I just went through this. -Sigh!- It takes A LOT of time and investigation to find the right pup!
In my search, prices ranged from about $600 up to $4000!!! The average is more like $1200ish to 2200ish.. My girl was $1300 and its looking like I got alot for my money (crossing fingers) but Im really only wanting a family dog. Even if you're not interested in showing, it still costs you to get sound health and temperment from a wholesome source....
