She's going to be weak for awhile, but just showing INTEREST in anything at this point (even being poked by a needle ) is a very GOOD THING.

What are they trying to feed her? I'd take some jars of baby food chicken with you and let her lick it off your fingers. Tapioca is also a very soothing food for dogs (prepared with chicken broth and you could stir an egg in with it - NO sugar or milk). You can swirl baby food into the tapioca, also. Just coat your finger with it and let her lick it off to start - a very small amount. She's going to need a very bland diet for awhile so her intestinal tract can continue to heal. There's also a high calorie, low volume paste you can get called NutriCal. Ask your vet about this.

Is she still on an IV?
Yes....she is still getting all kinds of meds and such through the IV....plus vitamins....you know the norm with parvo pups.....anyways, I want to say that its good but everytime I try to make myself see good, I get bad news....GRRRRR.......i am HOPING BEYOND HOPING that she will make progress tomorrow although I dont know if they will even TRY any by mouth fluids because the hosp is not open...the techs and vet go in to see the animals and do treatments....I really really want to believe the bloody diarrhea is gone....<PRAYING> that it is gone.....is it ok for her to have baby food if she isnt tolerating liquids yet? When they give her by mouth things she throws them up...sometimes 45 min later...sometimes 2 hrs....it just depends.....
