| Re: Arthur scared at kennels! Update:
Picked up Arthur from the kennels and he was sooooo happy! He came bounding out of the kennel when I opened his door and kind of lowered his body to the ground really close to me, all the while his little stubby tail was moving his entire hind end back and forth like crazy! I don't think he had a great time there, but I know he wasn't mistreated at all. In fact, he was known as "the sweetie".
As soon as I got him home, we immediately went for a walk. We went in one direction and then when we turned back to head home, his nose was on the ground and he started pulling like crazy, following his own scent home! Sure, the walk was horrid, but he sure was eager to get home! lol! I made sure that the kids were all out when I brought him home, giving him time to settle in before they returned.
Going into his crate that night, Arthur was more than happy to quietly chew on his toys while the kids were playing in the living room. He seemed so content to just be surrounded by everyone again.
Thanks again for all of your stories! I still won't look forward to boarding him again any time soon. lol |
