Re: Infuriating!!!!!

i always have a minimum of four rottees on my farm. i love my dogs and all rottees as a matter of fact, i have owned rottees all my life. it is true that problems are inevitable if they are owned by the wrong type of individuals. it is interesting to note that in the ad there was a man and a german shephard. when i was 8 yr old, i had to ride my bike past a neighbour who had a german shephard that always laid on their front step facing the road. i knew it was preying on me, i felt it, and i was very scared to ride my bike past there to go to school. i told my parents and they called the owners and explained the situation. the owners said that the dog has never hurt anyone let alone a child. so, off to school on my bike still feeling scared, then one morning i rode past the house the dog ran out and grabbed my leg, pulled me off my bike, and i was just screaming. i still have the scar on the back of my calf to this day. that was 30 yr. ago. btw even after that incident the neighbours only kept the dog tied up for about a week, then it was back sitting on the step in the front yard again.
any dog can be vicious, however, it is the owners that should be questioned as well as strict laws in order for the undesireable pet owners to adhere to and not just single out one breed of dog. that is so maddening.
