If I were the breeder, I would be suing also. It's her name and reputation that is being damaged. Per the Animal Pedrigree Act it's illegal to sell animals as purebreds without the papers. If there are no papers then that's considered fraud and the RCMP can step in. A local petstore in my area was recently shut down for doing that, that and selling puppies and dogs with parvo.
