Hello to everyone and thank you for all your advice. I wanted to let everyone know that we laid Zeus to rest on Monday, March 10th at 10am. He could not endure any more and we didn't expect him to. The last three days he had been going downhill. He was having trouble getting around the house, especially getting up. He had lost alot of weight and I know he was not a happy boy anymore. We did everything we could do for him to make him happy and comfortable. Once we saw that we weren't helping him anymore, we ended his suffering and sent him to the Rainbow Bridge. He was a wonderful dog and words could never express how much he meant to us. I am truly blessed to have been able to bond with such a magnificant animal. I will miss all the precious things we did together especially "spoon time". We called him Spoonman sometimes because that was our special time together where we would love on him until he couldn't stand it anymore. I have so many wonderful memories of Zeus. He made our family complete. He loved sleeping with us in the bed. It was a really tight fit even with a king! But completely worth it and I wouldn't change anything for the world. I will carry him in my heart forever and ever. I know I will meet up with him again and we will cross the bridge together! I love you so very much Zeusarilla. R.I.P. my sweet fuzzy Angel Rilla.
