One of the girls that I work with got a pup(this was several years ago). He is mastiff(dad) and rottie/pit/bulldog(mom). Her son's neighbors dog had pups. LONG story,but this person was an awful owner. Jamie just went over and took the mom and all the pups home with her. The pups were 8 weeks old so she found homes for all 6 of them and the mom too. She decided to keep a little brindle boy. 3 days after rescuing them all she found out they had parvo. Simon the little boy she kept was the only suvivior. He had a long battle being so young but he made it. He is now a very heathly 3 year old 110lb boy. No ill affects.
