This is the hardest part of having a pet. All of ours are in urns around the house. That way they are around when I still need to "talk" to them. We've always opted for the private cremation. I want my dog and only my dog with me.
When our GSD Niko died I ordered a keychain amulet for hubby. He had him before we met and this was the first dog he had ever lost. Now we have the ashes at home and wherever hubby goes Niko still gets to go to.
It's so hard but it does help to know that you still have a part of them with you. |
