Re: Missed important intstruction

LOL!! What a good boy.
Reminds me of when we had our goldens...I had worked with them to not go down steps whenever anyone was on them as I didn't want them knocking down the kids on the stairs. We were visiting my mother-in-law and she was trying without any luck to get Brandy to go down into the basement...she kept calling her to "come" but Brandy just stood at the top of the steps. When we went over to see what the problem was, we noticed she was standing half way down the steps calling Brandy. We told her she had to walk all the way down and THEN call her...and once she was off the steps, Brandy walked right down.
Or like last night when hubby was letting the dogs outside for their last potty. Our foster refused to go out...Dave is literally shoving his butt out the door with Rocky not co-operating(and at 97 lbs it was a toss up as to who would win). Finally figured out that when I let the dogs out, I put them all in a sit stay and release our old girl, Kenya, to go out first. Rocky KNEW Kenya was supposed to go out first, Dave didn't. Once Kenya went out, Rocky was more than happy to follow her.
Hmmm, could we be OVERTRAINING our dogs????
