Missed important intstruction

Just to lighten the load I thought I would share this with you.

I went to Crufts for a doggy day out and stayed over night locally. A work colleague who adores Teazle (and the feeling is mutual) looked after her in my house. As Teazle is 4 months post TPLO (rutured cruciate operation) I gave her a long, well, very long, list of do's and don'ts. Julie is a very responsible girl and I trusted her to do everything by the book.

However, I forgot a very important instruction.

Julie dutifully prepared Teazle's meal on the first evening and crushed her supplements in etc. Then she put it on the floor. Teazle had alreday come and was sitting waiting. Julie carried on doing something and noticed Teazle was not eating, so thinking she was just shy, Julie left the kitchen so Teazle could eat in peace. She returned about 15 mins later only to find Teazle still in the same position and the food untouched. Julie was very worried and bent down to her saying "are you ok Teazle?". At that moment she quickly started to tuck into her dinner.

The key word..."ok"...... I had forgotten to include in the instructions to give Teazle that release command.

I felt terrible when she told me.

And this is the same dog which stole my boss's sandwiches 3 times when he left them around !!!!!
