If you have experience showing/breeding you would know the answer to your question...since being able to read a pedigree is very important.
Since your dog is not registered with the AKC, it is probably registered with one of the bogus registries such as CKC(Continental), or APRI.
Sounds like your dog comes from a BYB breeder.
Get him neutered and enjoy him as the companion/pet he is.
