Tell me how that (the bolded part) is helpful for anyone coming here for advice. Why would you say one thing and do another? Is that honest?
I don't treat my dogs one way and tell it differently here.

No, I have never hit my dogs..ever. I don't consider hitting, slapping etc., to play any part in dog training. I want my dogs to respect me, not fear me.

I have an old rescue Rottweiler here who has obviously been hit. She used to cower when I raised my hand to reach up for anything. She runs off if I clap my hands. The noise of a loud hand clap terrifies her.
She is a loving, gentle dog and after 18 months here she's learning to trust me not to hurt her. She is a classic example of a dog who's been hit.
