OP, i think you should seek out a Dog Trainer immediately. This pup is 6 months old and should not be cocking his leg on you! You are not a fire hydrant and should not be treated as such. You have obviously (more than likely unintentionally) let this dog think HE is the leader of the pack, this must be nipped in the bud quick smart or he will be doing more than just cocking his leg.
Please contact a dog trainer asap and arrange for a meeting with you and your boy, he/she will give you the correct technique for dealing with this kind of problem.
I wish you luck and in the mean time, when you are on the couch and he comes up to you, i'd be taking him straight outside for a pee, dotn even give him the chance to pee on you.
