Take her to places other dogs don't go.......an indoor mall, a school gymnasium, tennis courts, the gym, to the office, to Target stores, KMart......etc. etc. etc. Any place where dogs don't frequent. At 12 weeks, you can be assured everyone will want to help socialize her!
Places to absolutely avoid are dog parks, pet stores, the vet's office (unless you carry her), street corners and if there's an outbreak I would add sidewalks to that as well.
There are plenty of places to take her where parvo won't be an issue, and it's really important to keep up on the socialization! REALLY important! |
