OK... HIT A DOG. This op is talking about a 6 mo old ?? Have I ever hit a young pup ? No way.
In a moment of My anger ( a stressful time after a dog bite situation).I did react by hitting the dog on his way to kennel him. I still regert that day.
The op has received many many good suggestions for handling the situation WITHOUT HITTING A PUP.
