Hitting your dog b/c he pees on you, because you haven't taught him otherwise is unacceptable. He should hit himself for not correcting the dog earlier. Training mistakes (especially in this case) are the owners fault, the dog is not to blame.
The best thing for the OP to do, would be hire a trainer, and to take the advice of everyone else on this thread. This should be a simple fix; their is no need to hit a dog when a simple verbal correction will work just fine.
