| Re: Our Sweet Sassy Has Parvo!?!? Thanks everyone! I picked up Sassy this am to take her to a day clinic...she seemed a bit more peppy....not her normal self, but better.....I don't want to be overly optimistic....we have a durango and she jumped over the back seat to get to me (in the driver seat) and she wouldnt leave my side....when I got the day clinic she wouldnt look at me again and when they put her in the crate she looked at me like "help me"....they are continuing the IV fluids and electrolytes there.....they did give her an "electrolyte broth" type thing - cant remember the name to save my life - because she was acting thirsty when we got to the second clinic and the vet there said that even if she throws it up 3-4 hrs later that its better for her stomach and overall wellness....and she threw it up 3 1/2 hrs after drinking it. She also said it was a good sign that she showed interest at all in drinking! Keep up the positive thought and prayers....we seem to be going in the wrong direction! |
