Your pup is already 61lbs. That is slightly higher than the norm in a general sense. Puppies should be gaining roughly 10lbs per month, so at 5 months, he should weigh somewhere around 50lbs. Don't follow the recommended weight.
With HD, you definitely don't want him heavy. Keep him lean. At the moment, he sounds a bit overweight, so decrease the amount of food you give. |
