Our breeder had an area with cedar chips for the litter, that she started training them to use very early. So, when we brought Mango home, we just spread a small area with cedar chips in the yard, and took her there every time. We always scoop the poop and put it on the cedar chip pile, so usually she goes within 10-15 feet area around it. (poo only, she kind of picked her own spot where she always piddles, seperate from the other, but it's fine with us.).
The cedar chips seem to keep the area smelling better, too. |
