visibility and the numbers in Humane Society. Personal observation. I should have said in my area but many people keep telling me the same thing from other areas of Wisconsin. 15 years ago the kennel club in my area had several, now, I am the only person with Rotties. Most of the shows that I have attended have very few Rottie entries as opposed to years ago when there were large entries. I have spoken to several HS in my area that tell me many of them that come in are just PTS due to lack of good applicants. Sadly, it feels that the good homes tend to be backed off now due to BSL and fear of losing their dogs or home owners insurance. |
