We lost our first at 2 1/2, our second at 7 1/2 and our current rescue boy is 8, going on 4. He very seldom shows his age. We laugh, he is the dog we have the most behavior issues with and he will live the longest! On a lighter note, the medium sized dog I had as a kid lived to be 19, losing her was so hard! I'd had her since I was two, and we got her from the shelter as an adult dog. |
