Rotties can end up with ears that fly upward (think pictures of the "Flying Nun" from TV) and/or tend to fold down the middle and be held folded back rather than hanging down or "pendant" as the standard describes it... they call them "rose petal ears" and other terms. They are not correct to the standard. My girl has them. They are certainly very expressive, but not correct.
