 How not to train...?
I have a 8 month old Rottie named Porscha. She is about 88lbs+ and healthy active pup. I have had very little problems with her so I can't complain about difficulty training. I do worry though that I am training her correctly. I have heard from several people that you have to be careful how you dicipline and train Rotties. A recent tv show said that you should never raise your voice, just use calm assertive command. While I try to use this method, I find that I often have to raise my voice for her to listen to me. I wouldn't say I yell but I do have a louder than normal voice when she is being difficult.
Any advice? |
