If you do a search here on "treadmill" you will find some other threads on this issue. If memory serves, most people did not endorse the idea of exercising dogs on a treadmill, particularly puppies and youngsters. One of the threads talked about mental exercise, including tracking and other things to do inside, that will burn energy and tire a dog out.
