If you are looking at a pup from quality parents (whether they are titled/the quality of the bitch/quality of stud dog/full health certs) you can easily expect to pay $1000-2000 for a puppy. I know one US breeder that charges $2200/ pup and another that charges $2000/pup.
I would expect however that from untitled parents even if fully health cleared that the price would be substantially less....
Another factor (at least for ME) is that I do not own my own stud dog, each of my litters have been with an "outside" male, and when you are factoring in stud fees that all gets included in price too.
When I hear of puppies selling for $200-300 THAT sets off alarm bells...
