| Re: Good training classes For Weily4Life, Maybe you misunderstood me, I said I take her out again at 6:45 a.m before Ileave because I have put her food down for her after the 5:00 outing. This girl wakes me up regularly at 5:00 a.m, and once I take her out then, I put food in her bowl for her so she eats that and then I take her out at 6:45 a.m before I leave to relieve herself.

Because most of the time she doesn't have accidents in the house, and this is something she has done just a few times lately. I have been able to catch her in the act o squating to pee, and when I yell at her to stop her she runs away. This is what I mean, and when I try to call her over or bring her over to the spot to show her and say "no" she won't come. While I undrstand why she won't come of course I was just simply asking is there a better way to get her to understand that she has done something wrong. Indeed I know she knows because once I catch her and I say attt nooo she will stop and then run off, and when I'm talking to her afterwards she will lokk away really sad like saying I'm msooo sorry I did that the entire time I'm talking to her face to face saying no,, do not pee on the carpet, or whatever I'm saying to her about it.. Even if I'm just talking normally saying why you do that she will be looking so sad, until I resume my norma voice and then she will start jumping around and licking me again. But I'm sure she already knows when she's done something wrong right then and there because of how she looks when she does it, and the fact that she takes of runnign and hides. Same way with kids. Oh yeah and a far as he popping I sure do dicipline her when I catch her doing something wrong, I simply pop her on the nose and tell her "NO" I usually don't have a problem with her repeating the same thing again after I do this. Some of your techniques may be different but popping works with me and has with every dog I have had. I'm not literally punching her or anything at all hard, just a simple pop. Also I will try the whole going over to her thing when she does something wrong instead of calling her over. That does actually make more sense anyway. That way she WILL associate me calling her to something positive all the time. Thanks a bunch again, but I'm sure you will be hearing from me quite often. No one I know has any real idea of how to properly train/ care for a dog, they just do what comes to mind outside of the shots and grooming everything else is pretty much learned as they go along. That's what I have you guys for so my rottie will be different. Thanks again.
Until next time. Uhh next question/concern that is... |
