ABSOLUTELY NOT! You should not be calling her to you EVER to discipline her for ANYTHING. If you need to correct her for something, then you go to HER, not the other way around.

As for correcting an accident in the house. NO! If you catch her in the act, then you can whisk her out the door to finish outside, but never, never, NEVER correct her for an accident that has already happened. She has no idea why you're correcting her.....a correction needs to happen within 1-3 seconds for the dog to understand what it's for.

No, she won't be confused, she will be exactly right - you are calling her to you to pop her. If you knew someone was going to do that to you, would you go? I wouldn't. If you want her to come when called, then make sure coming when called is a happy, rewarded experience for her - otherwise, why should she come at all?
