rally is a hoot. you will love it. sometimes i think it is harder on the handler...trying to remember right from left!

i would suggest...learn each command separately.work on a leash(no rush to go off leash, even in advanced),make it fun, talk to your dog. practice around distractions. practice footwork without dog.
print up the signs and explanations and learn them.
and keep up to date with the rules.
