 recall?
Hi...Roxy is now 6 months old..she is gettin spayed next week...She took puppy kindergarten and will start basic obedience april 8 (she was not old enough in january). She does really well with basic commands, although we still work hard on the "stay" command when I go out of the room..However, we have YET to master the recall command and I read here it is one of the first ones we should have learned...She just looks at me...sometimes she will come, others she will not.
Also, just recently, when I let her out and she comes back to scratch on the door to be let in, when I open the door, she just stands and looks. I keep telling her to come in, and she looks. This is new behavior as she has always come right in. (I let her out first thing in the morning and her last bathroom break at night without lead...we have a fence yard..she goes and does her business and comes right back, scratches on the door to let me know she is ready).
