Either put him in a crate when you have company over, or leash him to you until he calms down. You need to get in control of this dog! This is rude and unacceptable behavior. When your guests arrive, tell them to ignore the dog completely. Do no look at him, touch him, say anything to him. When the dog is calmly sitting at your feet, then he gets rewarded with some pets or attention. The dog cannot jump and bite at people if he's leashed to you and in a down-stay.
Are you two in classes? OB training would help you learn how to train him properly. |
