 Re: Ratio age/weight, weight gain?
Well,
we had our third visit to the vet yesturday for her second round of shots. (I decided to give her all the basic shots, plus the dog cough, Leptospirosis and Rage. We'll have another visit in a month for her to get the third round of basic shots, second round of Leptospirosis and the only shot for the Rage. I'm really happy with the way they administer the shots, after this it will be every 3 years.) The vet clinic is actualy a Regional Vet. Hospital, on the down side: each time we visit we deal with a different Doctor.
Moreover, Anya at 12weeks showed to be 19.36 pounds and in very good health. Whitch means that she gained around 9 pounds from a month ago when at 8weeks she had 10.5 pounds. Like most of you here, the Vet. anwsered my concerns of her being too small. He said that as long as she's healthy and growing at a steady paste it's all good, plus not all dogs grow the same.
Finaly, and most importantly... :) He couldn't detect the heart murmur that was estimated to be of 2- or 3- when she was 7&8 weeks of age. Just to make sure, he called in another Vet to listne, and she comfirmed, Anya's heart murmur is no longer present!!!! I was sooo happy!  |
