at my house, i am the alpha!
it's called training and socialization.
we have our routines. they are all intact at present moment(3 females and 1 male).2 of the 4 have been bred before.
at feeding time, they each sit and wait for me to say ok before they start eating.
they each know which is their crate.
there is an order to go in and out.
all my dogs get worked in obedience and we practice it around the house.
some call it NILIF(nothing in life is free)method.
