| Re: Hips I am sure others with greater knowledge will answer you. From what I know, a dog can get (and should) OSA certified at 2 years. This is done to check for genetic hip problems; if he/she doesn't pass, you should not breed them.
Before you start working (i.e. agility, running, carting) you should make sure your dog has certifiable hips. (to prevent injury/pain)
You can look up your puppies sire/dam OSA test results on the internet (if they have been tested).
