I agree that a relatively sudden lameness is cause for a visit to the vet ASAP all you can do until then is limit her to indoor/crate rest, no running around! Limping can be caused by anything from a muscle strain to HD to a knee injury and there's no way to know for sure without a thorough exam and an x-ray and there's no point in home treating until you know exactly what you are treating.
Often these dogs don't show sign of pain until they are REALLY sore and the fact that she can't jump up on the bed (which she could before) means she's GOT to be sore! So no, it may not be horrific but it IS affecting her normal movement.
I'm one of those people who punishes my own body a lot (I play rugby & run a lot) and I know from experience that the sooner I get to a doctor to have something looked at, the quicker recovery will be! The same goes for my dog.
