I personally don't agree with sending your dog away to get "trained" - I don't care who it is, but it's time that YOU'RE not spending with YOUR dog - so how can that bond be there? YOUR dog will be listening to someone other than you - how can you be sure your dog will respond the same way to you!? How will your dog see you as the leader if you're not there?
If you're the last one to want to send your dog away, then DON'T DO IT. Make the time - you brought the dog into your life, she didn't ask for it, it's YOUR job to make time for HER TRAINING.
