Wink Jetts 2nd training - and i'm smiling!!!

Well this time i took kabana cut up into little pieces and she was an angel!! The sit/stay we still have a lot to work on (she actually sat for more than 10 seconds) but she was actually focussed on and watching me, not so interested in all the other dogs the trainer was very happy and said that she had come a long way (we missed out on a week cuz hubby was interstate and i couldn't get a sitter).

Last night we learned how to drop and i must say Jett excelled at that (anything other than sitting and she's more than willing *L*). We also worked on the 'stand' and she was also quite good at that - probably cuz i have been practicing stacking her for tomorrows show).

Thank you to all who offered suggestions after our first awful week, i took all suggestions on board and they helped a LOT!!

We also have our fist obedience training with another all breed dog club this saturday. That way she can get familiar with other breeds and not just the gorgeous ones So she will have training twice per week, wednesday night with rotts and saturday arvo's with all breeds. Hopefully we can get this sit stay happening. I am sure she thinks there are hot coals on the ground *hehehe* at least she did it this week, now just have to get her to stay. Everytime i move infront of her after the 'stay' command she wants to jump up and slobber all over me!

Trainer also said Jett is a very high energy dog and said that is a good thing to have in a dog once she is trained properly. We just have to channel all of her energy into her training.

I am not as stressed as i was after the last training fiasco!
