| Sending a dog to boarding for Training
getting training is a good idea, I have been trying to train gypsy but dont have the full time to train, sending her to boarding school this week. gypsy doesnt go on my furniture without permission but then again she has her own chair in our tv room. sometime they just want to be on the furniture. I will call her up on the bed but she gets down after a few minutes. I'm lucky enough to be able to close the door to the tv room if I choose. also about opinions, yes we are all different and sometimes I wonder if some of these dogs are even happy. sometimes I wonder if their children are raised the same way. I believe that life is too short to be too strict but I will say in their defense that some obedience training is important. this site is wonderful but if we listened to everything said here we would go insane with worry about our dogs. some of us take flack for what we say and think.. |
