you said you would like to know what your pup might be, look up dna testing for breed analysis. there are tests where you swab the cheek and send in with a fee to determine what breed or mix of breed your dog is.(limited to thirty something breeds, i believe).
just because the pup has no papers or might be mixed does not mean you can't still have fun with your pup-there are many things you can still do and train in.
