My 7 year old is having surgery today on her ACL. It started bothering her on Sunday night, I took her yesterday & they did x-rays & sure enough. I dropped her off this morning. She'll have to stay at least 48 hours, they would prefer longer, but she hates the vet, & I don't know how she'll do. I usually give her valium just for a regular appt. Anyone else go through this? They say recovery can be 6-8 weeks. I also have a 20 week old, that won't understand whys he can't play!
