Greetings all,
I have two great pups Male and Female( different breeders) that I intend on working. Both come from excellent pedigree and my family and I are very excited sharing our lives with this great bread again.

I named my male using a famous German Kennel and my female with another kennel that moved to the US. This was a bone head thing to do and at the time I did not think much of it because they were only for working and OB. But lately, these pups are very looking good and even the breeders have suggested I show them in german style or AKC. Although, I would like work them first, my family and I would not mind having a respectable judge give us all the particulars.

I called the AKC and they said the the names could not be changed at all. When the Customer service brought up the kennel names on both dogs after thier names, she said that thier kennels did not show up as being registered.

I am just embarrassed and do not want to appear insincere, I would just like to know if anyone knows a way around me changing my dogs Full AKC registration names.

The next thing I could do is call the kennel directly ask for forgiveness and explain that it was done more as s compliment and admiration.
