Re: Possible kc...home remedies?

Thank you all, she does have a little bronchitis going on, and she reverse sneezed at the vet today. She still isn't really coughing but woke me up twice during the night with the reverse sneezing. What a scary noise that is-like hyperventilating! Lasts a few seconds but seems a lifetime.

So given her age we came home with clavamox & a suppressant in pill form. I think I'll hold off on the suppressant for now or maybe just for nighttime. He said without anti-biotics she'd probably develop further and just take longer to recover. And we are in class so the less we miss the better... Also, the new vet won't touch the nasal version! He talked with me for quite awhile, I feel much better and I hope he works out.

She's been on Nutro Ultra and has done really well on it, only 2-3 BMs a day but I'd like to start mixing in a good food that isn't chicken based. I've noticed most are. So I've been looking around and might try Canidae Lamb or I just noticed today Cal Natural has a beef based puppy food.

Thanks for all the help hopefully these anti-biotics help somehow!
Ailee
