As brunie's mom said, most of the super premium foods aren't sold at big box stores or grocery stores. The companies that make the great foods (Canidae, Wellness, etc) won't sell to large chains. Petsmart has been trying to carry Canidae and Wellness for years, to no avail. So your best bet is to find an independent pet food retailer in your area and they will almost certainly have these foods.
About the dandruff, I had noticed that Brinks had some too (he's almost 10 weeks old). I live in Canada as well and artificial heating in the home this time of year can be brutal on their skin (as well as ours). I started brushing him with a rubber curry brush every morning and night. I have noticed far less dandruff since then. He still has some, but its helping, as well as getting him used to being groomed. |
