I choose breeding partners based upon what I want from the breeding. I also look at what the male has to offer Story to improve upon her. So far, she has been a solid foundation for my kennel.
Brito has been bred to a Dasko daughter already, and I really like what was produced. Excellent temperaments (high and balanced drives with off switches), excellent conformation...right up my alley.
Story's first litter has turned out much better than I could have asked for; two are in Schutzhund training, one of those also has 6mos of agility under her belt as well. Two will be shown this weekend in Valdosta and Tallahassee, and the others are beautiful, strong companion dogs keeping their families very busy!
Miss Story is a very affectionate grrrrlie with her family and invited guests and she passed that on to all of her babes from the B litter. She also passed on a lot of bravado.
They're all very versatile and biddable in temperament, and are quite simply very happy dogs.
So...my expectations for this upcoming litter are very high, so we shall see what happens! Keep yer paws crossed.
