I'd just like to stress to bring your records with you!! I forgot ours during a road trip from Cali to Texas and forgot that we would have to board Roscoe so the family can spend the day sight seeing. We had already checked out of the hotel. We couldn't board him without record his shots. We ended up placing him in a less expensive hotel that accepted pets. It was an extra $80 and only for a few hours, but well worth it. Roscoe was safe in his kennel with air conditioning. Let me stress the air conditioning because it's Texas and it was near 90 degrees outside!!
