Being "big name", being a member of a club, or having a fancy website does NOT make someone responsible or ethical

. There are tons of flashy websites, and used car salesman type breeders out there that on the outside appear to be ethical, but underneath it all they're not doing our breed any favors.
No matter who the breeder is you need to get to know them yourself, get to know the people that have purchased puppies from them in the past, confirm health certifications and titles etc. Essentially it's up to YOU as an informed puppy buyer to do your homework! If you're not comfortable with their breeding practices, their puppy buyer support or anything else then don't consider getting a puppy from them (they're not likely to change).
