They also like to use their muscular structure! They're athletes. My girls have rearranged my wood pile a few times, just a heavy log here and there. They like to drag them around the yard.
In the house, mine often carry a toy, or a ball. My friend taught her dog to get the remote, and the phone. Nice idea for the dog...as long as you don't forget your own fitness needs.
Still another friend got a doggy backpack. When she did her walking errands, the dog carried a few things in the pack. (whether she needed them or not) |
This is hilarious! I thought my girl was a little weird when she decided to rearrange our wood pile! She piled them (not neatly) about 15 feet down from where they originally were. We just watched her like "is she for real????" she was so determined to do it too, and she'd sit in front of the pile like she was thinking "okaaay...where to put that BIG one....over there? no, maybe over there"
Of course we had to move them as they were scattered around the yard when she was done. Then she slept for the rest of the day!
