I would see if your vet will spin down some plasma from moms blood and feed it to your pups, especially the runt as she seems to not have gotten any colostrum. 4cc's of plasma for a newborn will give the equivelent of 21 days of antibodies, which will help them thru this early stage. Also get some goats milk or Esbilac(SP) and bottle feed the runt every 2-3 hours for the first week and make sure you are keeping them warm. Also do not give up on getting the runt onto its mom, try the back nipples as they are smaller ususally and easier for the small pups to latch on. Good Luck and Happy Holidays. |
